Patterson Hood of Athens, Georgia-based Drive-By Truckers is on tour behind a solo album, “Exploding Trees & Airplane Screams,” which brings him to Terminal West on March 26.

The result is Exploding Trees & Airplane Screams, his first solo album in 13 years. Today, Hood unpacks the record, featuring collaborations with Lydia Loveless, Waxahatchee and Wednesday.
