Microsoft has added a new free tier for Azure Cosmos DB, its multi-model, globally distributed cloud database. Here's how it works.

The database also has a flavor of P ostgreSQL. Last year at Build, Microsoft had introduced vector search to Cosmos DB, building on the company’s Cosmos DB for MongoDB vCore service.
