Extra key fobs are now available for those fleet customers who ordered them for 2025 Chevy Silverado HD and 2025 GMC Sierra HD trucks, with programming extra.

General Motors has revised the head of the ignition/door keys for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra. These keys are STRATTEC part numbers 5924205 (Silverado) and 5924206 (Sierra).

So Chevrolet needed something to help the new version of its Silverado, the No. 2 pickup brand in the land, to stand out: a key fob for the tailgate.
