The "I Like It" rapper made a distinct impression in court for a case involving an incident with a former security guard.

A jury on Tuesday cleared Cardi B of liability in a 2018 assault case involving security guard Emani Ellis. The jury ruled the guard failed to prove the allegations against the "I Like It" rapper, which included assault, negligence and emotional distress.

A Los Angeles County jury sided with the rapper, dismissing the lawsuit filed by Emani Ellis, who was working as a security guard at a building where Cardi B's obstetrician's office was located.
