The latest beta of Google’s keyboard app for Android rolled out yesterday evening. Gboard 8.6 reveals works on a “Symbols keyboard,” sticker UI redesign, and sponsored GIFs, as well as a ghost.
The keyboard will change to one containing numerals and a few basic symbols. Tap the "1/2" button, located on the left side of the screen, to access the second page of symbols.
Elsewhere other keys, such as the globe keyboard toggle key on iOS, have been moved onto the second keyboard screen to save space. Numbers and most symbols are also found here.
