Despite its innovations in AI-driven coding, AWS has not gained much momentum among devs. AWS aims to change that with its biggest shift in developer strategy in years.

SageMaker Studio Notebooks is one of several AI development tools that AWS provides as part of SageMaker. With today’s updates, AWS is also enhancing several other components of the platform.

AWS has also simplified the path from model development to production inference with the ability to deploy Amazon SageMaker JumpStart models directly on SageMaker HyperPod.

AWS’ innovation and new products in 2025 include quantum chip, AWS Outposts, agentic AI, Amazon Bedrock, Aurora DSQL, Nova Premier and SageMaker.

To support developers building so-called serverless applications that don’t require them to manage cloud servers, AWS announced a preview of AWS Application Composer.
