HBR3 provides the ability to drive 1440p, 165Hz and 10 bits of color all at the same time. This means the monitor panel spec (2560 x 1440, 165Hz, and 10-bit color) without any compromises.

I haven't seen one super clear answer that tells me if buying a monitor with 10-bit panel will mean getting 10-bit output from the mac, and 10-bit rendering in Photoshop and Lightroom.
