Jarod Hawks, 43, of Port Orange, and John Padgett, 40, of Edgewater, were accused of using a large Trump sign as a battering ram against police.

Philip Sean Grillo, who was sentenced Friday to 12 months in prison for his role in the riot, said “Trump’s gonna pardon me anyways,” as U.S. Marshals took him into custody. Grillo was found guilty of the felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding, as well as some misdemeanors.

More than 140 police officers were assaulted by the mob, and the damage to the Capitol –from windows rioters smashed to enter the building to property rioters stole – was in the millions.
