As wildfires continue to damage large parts of California, airlines have issued warnings about travel to the region.

Almost 300,000 homes and businesses across southern California had been left without power as the fire continues to rage, meanwhile over 1,000 firefighters have been deployed to the scene to try and combat the fires.

Wildfires have caused destruction and chaos in Los Angeles since Tuesday morning with five people confirmed dead thus far. Wildfires broke out at 10:30am local time on Tuesday morning in one of the city’s residential districts.
