General Motors Co.’s electric vehicle customers are getting access Tesla Inc. Superchargers starting this month, following an agreement struck last year between Chief Executive Officers Mary Barra and Elon Musk.

General Motors (GM) buyers will soon be able to access Tesla's (TSLA) network of charging stations.The Detroit auto giant said Wednesday that it is now selling adapters to connect GM's electric vehicles to Tesla's Supercharger network for $225.

The access to Tesla's network gives GM customers access to more than 231,800 public Level 2 and DC fast chargers in North America.
