Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has sparked controversy by blaming the Indian Army's "incompetence" for the Pahalgam terror attack, citing their inability to provide security despite a large presence in Kashmir.

Hundreds of Indian-Americans gathered here to pay tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and called for stronger measures to prevent targeted attacks against Hindus. Peaceful vigils were also held across major cities of North America.

Security forces have demolished houses of terrorists in various parts of Kashmir Valley, including those of LET militant Adnan Shafi in Shopian and Jamil Ahmad Sher Gujri in Bandipora. This action is part of an ongoing crackdown against 14 active militants involved in terrorist activities.
