Michelle Williams is opening up about her memories of Heath Ledger. During Monday's episode of the " Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard " podcast, Williams, who shares daughter Matilda with the late actor, reflected on their time together after Shepard shared his own memories of Ledger.

Williams replied, in a whisper, that Ledger was “so special,” repeating it a few times. “Thank God there’s Matilda, ” she added, referring to her and Ledger’s now 19-year-old daughter.

Heath Ledger’s death hit fans hard, as well as all those who were lucky to know him. The beloved Hollywood star who never made it to 40 passed away in 2008 of an accidental prescription drug overdose.
