Second gentleman Douglas Emhoff ripped former President Trump on Friday for his remarks at an event raising awareness for combating antisemitism in which the GOP nominee suggested Jewish people would partly shoulder the blame if he loses in November.

Speaking at an antisemitism event on Thursday, former President Donald Trump suggested that US Jews would be partly to blame if he lost the election.

Donald Trump told a campaign event denouncing antisemitism that, if he doesn't win the election, "the Jewish people would have a lot to do with a loss."

Twice on Thursday, the former president said he believed “the Jewish people would have a lot to do with” a loss if Kamala Harris defeated him.

The speech also marked the first time that Trump explicitly said that American Jews who vote for Democrats harm American interests.

… “You should have your head examined, because it will face an unceasing, bloody war to obliterate the Jewish state and drive Jews out of the Holy Land,” Trump said about Jewish Americans who vote for Democrats.
