Disney+ ordered a revival of "Malcolm in the Middle" with the return of original series stars Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek.

In the show’s revival, Malcolm will be thrown back into his zany family’s chaos when Hal (played by Cranston) and Lois (played by Kaczmarek) demand their son and his daughters attend their 40th wedding anniversary party, per a Disney statement.
