Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has announced the closure of the country’s embassy in Ireland on Sunday, citing “extreme anti-Israel policies.”

Amid mounting international criticism of its military conduct in Gaza, Israel says it will deepen ties with countries it considers friendly toward it.

Israel has closed down its embassy in Ireland in response to what it called “the extreme anti-Israel policy of the Irish government”.
