Rain risk will increase late Sunday, continuing overnight and into Monday morning. We should have some breaks in the rain on Monday afternoon. Another round of rain is expected by Wednesday and Thursday of next week and then we will need to keep an eye on the first weekend of February for a chance of heavier rain and storms.

After experiencing the coldest air in years for our hometowns, warmer air will press into our area as we approach the weekend. By Sunday, high temperatures will push back to our average for this time of the year, reaching the upper 40s. Even warmer air is possible later next week.
