Goran Ivanisevic has quit as Elena Rybakina ’s coach after her exit from the Australian Open. His departure comes in the wake of Rybakina’s previous coach, Stefano Vukov, rejoining her team.

Elena Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon champion, says she disagrees with the WTA Tour’s decision to provisionally suspend her longtime coach, Stefano Vukov, and reiterated that she never made a complaint about him.

Elena Rybakina didn't hide that she was frustrated over not having Stefano Vukov in her box during the Australian Open and also indicated that continuing her partnership with Goran Ivanisevic isn't set in stone.

Goran Ivanisevic has announced that he will not continue working with Elena Rybakina in the wake of everything that has happened since the start of the year.

Rybakina hired Ivanisevic ahead of last year's WTA Finals and they started working together in the off-season. But their partnership was marred when the Kazakh rehired her former coach, Stefano Vukov, and news broke that Vukov was suspended by the WTA pending investigation.
