Harry Kane didn’t need to start Bayern Munich’s last game of the Bundesliga to finish as the league’s top-scorer again. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany suggested before the game that the team’s title-winning celebrations had taken their toll when he opted to start Kane among the substitutes for Saturday’s match at Hoffenheim.

Kane rounded off his season with a 38th goal of the campaign in Saturday’s 4-0 final-day win at Hoffenheim.

Harry Kane has secured his second consecutive Torjagerkanone award in the Bundesliga, scoring 26 goals in 31 matches during the 2024/25 season. The Bayern Munich striker is the first player in Bundesliga history to achieve this feat in his first two years.
