Dave Meltzer has discussed about the Britt Baker situation, and claimed that Baker isn't leaving AEW, but said there is some truth to how people feel about her.

Responding to the reaction to Wade Keller's recent PWTorch report stating that Baker might be done with AEW, Alvarez states that the situation has been "blown way out of proportion," adding that there's nothing to the suggestion that the former AEW Women's World Champion is finished with the Tony Khan-helmed promotion.

Over the past few days, there have been lot of rumors circulating about Baker. Some reports claim that the DMD was disliked backstage and that there were some talks that she was done with All Elite Wrestling. Those initial reports were later revealed to be blown out of proportion.

It's believed Baker has become too difficult to work with and we may have seen the last of her in the promotion.

Britt defeated Penelope Ford in her most recent AEW match on 13 November. Afterwards, AEW shot an angle with Serena Deeb entering and hitting the stage, seemingly setting Baker up with her next opponent. This was never followed up. While Deeb entered, Britt was shown in the ring saying "Nobody cares."
