Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty has certainly secured the public's vote ahead of the Heisman Trophy award ceremony as he was the only finalist to rep his school on Friday.

The junior running back joined Kellen Moore as the only Broncos to be finalists for the award, but Jeanty’s finish as runner-up sets new program standard.

Rushing for a jaw-dropping 2,497 yards and 29 touchdowns, Jeanty helped lead the Broncos to a 12-1 record, a Mountain West title and a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff; they'll face the winner of No. 11 SMU and No. 6 Penn State in the quarterfinal round .
