Bengaluru police arrested the wife, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law of Atul Subhash, a deceased auto executive, on charges of abetment to suicide. The trio, apprehended in Gurugram and Allahabad, are in judicial custody.

The family of Bengaluru techie who died by suicide alleging harassment from his estranged wife and her family members has sought the custody of his four-year-old son. The techie Atul Subhash's brother Bikas Kumar has been quoted as saying by a report,

Days before his suicide, Atul accused Nikita and her family of harassment and extortion, detailing his allegations in a 24-page suicide note and video.

Atul Subhash was found hanging at his Bengaluru house and he left behind an 80-minute-long video and 24-page suicide letter accusing his wife Nikita Singhania, his family and the judge of a Jaunpur family court of pushing him to the point where he had no option but to kill himself.

Following the suicide of Atul Subhash, who blamed his wife and in-laws for harassment, his family seeks custody of his four-year-old son. They believe the child embodies Atul and provides solace for their grief.
