Page Six went ahead and spoke to a representative for the FBI PR office, who said “Members of the FBI‘s Ground Intercept task force are conducting activity in the area of the Palisades Fire relative to unauthorized drone activity. Agents and our local partners may be visible throughout the area, including at various residences, for this reason.”

FBI investigators visited actor Ben Affleck’s neighborhood in California over the weekend in search of security camera footage of an unauthorized drone that collided with a firefighting aircraft, according to the New York Post’s Page Six.

A source tells Page Six that there were cops present because neighbors had private security roaming the area that kept residents from going to their homes.
