Krewe of Argus to Parade on Metairie Road with St. Patrick’s Parade
The event will now take place alongside the St. Patrick’s Day Parade of Jefferson, creating a once-in-a-lifetime occasion where Mardi Gras meets St. Patrick's Day.
Argus, St. Patrick will combine for Jefferson Parish’s biggest parade day on March 16
But the parish announced Wednesday that its premier Carnival parade, the Krewe of Argus, will get to roll on a new date and route. On March 16, Argus will roll down Metairie Road, just before the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
