Meta’s Horizon Worlds VR will shut down later this year, with the company confirming that it plans to sunset the offering in the next few months. Meta launched Horizon Worlds VR for the Meta Quest lineup of headsets a few years ago right at the height of COVID.

Meta is now keeping Horizon Worlds available on its virtual reality headsets, after announcing a day earlier that it would be shut down.
