A temporary restraining order has been granted that will ban federal agents from retaliating against, arresting, detaining, or using chemical irritants against people engaging in peaceful protest.

Tensions continued early on Thursday in Minneapolis, as protesters clashed in the streets with law enforcement, following the second shooting there in about a week involving a federal officer.

Of about 8,000 people incarcerated in the state’s prisons, 207 are non-U.S. citizens, according to the DOC statement.
