Director Sukumar visited Sri Tej, a nine-year-old boy who was critically injured in the stampede during Pushpa 2 screening on December 4. He is currently on a ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a private hospital in Hyderabad.

After Allu Arjun donated ₹25 lakh, Pushpa director Sukumar also donated ₹5 lakh to the family of stampede victim after meeting them in the hospital.
