Three people survived a plane crash and waited for 12 hours on the wing of the wrecked plane on an icy lake in Alaska. The pilot and two children survived the dramatic crash. The plane had crashed onto the frozen surface of a lake in Alaska.

A man and two children have been found alive 12 hours after their small plane crashed on a frozen lake in Alaska on Sunday, March 23.

The three survivors were taken to a Kenai Peninsula area hospital and treated for "non-life-threatening injuries."
