The Oklahoma City Thunder lost 106-98 against the Dallas Mavericks Friday night. Oklahoma City trailed by 20 at halftime and managed to take a two-point third-quarter lead but scored just 22 fourth-quarter points.

“OKC is gonna fall because they can’t afford their team because their team is too good and too young,” Arenas said on his podcast Gil’s Arena. “The fact that they’re all playing well, they have to be paid. Somebody has to pay them and OKC can’t afford all of it. This is what happened to OKC the first time.”

Alexander, a dizzying ball handler and Williams’ co-star, was the first to greet him, hand extended from his camouflage sleeve.  “You good, brodie,” Gilgeous-Alexander told him, working every muscle in his face with animated encouragement.
