Australia’s Labor Party has unveiled an ambitious proposal to address long-standing mobile phone black spots across the country, pledging universal outdoor mobile coverage by 2027.
All outdoor areas of Australia would have mobile coverage by 2027 under the proposal, with an extra 5 million square kilometres to gain service, including 37,000km of roads in regional areas.
