Kelly Clarkson has been missing from The Kelly Clarkson Show, and her absence has fans worried. Over the past couple of weeks, Kelly has been noticeably and randomly not in her host seat. It all began with comedian Roy Wood Jr.

Clarkson missed the March 3 taping of The Kelly Clarkson Show and was replaced by guest host Simu Liu at the last minute. She returned two days later but ducked out yet again, with several celebrities stepping in to take her place. Among those who have temporarily assumed the gig include Roy Wood Jr, Wanda Sykes and Brooke Shields.

Since Feb. 28, Kelly Clarkson has missed several episodes of the show. She didn’t appear in the March 3 taping of the show and was replaced by guest host Simu Liu who revealed that he learned about the gig “five minutes” before stepping out on stage, where he was supposed to attend as a guest.
