Another year, another BAFTA snub for Denzel Washington. The two-time Oscar winner was snubbed again by the British Academy on Wednesday, missing out on a nomination in Best Supporting Actor for Gladiator II.

Even though Denzel Washington’s Gladiator II performance is the highlight of the movie, it’s possible that he ended up going down with the ship. While the movie was nominated for Best British Film, it only received two other nominations, in technical categories, for Best Sound and Special Visual Effects.

Denzel Washington is widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of his generation, but he remans a blind spot for the BAFTAs.
