Hamilton County animal control impounded the dogs in a Colerain Township attack and cited their owner because of a history of escaping from the yard.

Police shot and killed one dog while responding to an attack in Colerain Township Wednesday afternoon — just days after two dogs mauled a woman, leaving both of her arms in casts.

Police footage shows officers responding after a mom of three was mauled by two dogs in front of her kids. "Cause I almost died. I can't believe I didn't die. I can't believe it," Emily Rentschler said. Rentschler's boyfriend told officers the dogs were always kept outside.
