The Oklahoma City Thunder announced Friday that second-year center Chet Holmgren continues to make progress in his recovery from his injury.

Thunder forward Chet Holmgren is expected to be sidelined until early February, at the earliest, as he recovers from a hip fracture.

Thunder big man Chet Holmgren is continuing to make progress in his recovery from a right iliac wing fracture, according to the club, which announced on Friday that he’ll be reevaluated in approximately three to five weeks.

If any Thunder player -- or any player in the league -- is suited to attack the rehab needed to get back on the hardwood quickly and in good form, it's Holmgren. He missed his entire rookie season with a foot injury, yet was stellar in his first season playing.
