Williams have unveiled their new 2025 Formula 1 car, the FW47, at Silverstone. The event marked the public debut of the team's high-profile drivers, Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon. Sainz took the first lap in the new livery on Friday.

Sainz, who has joined Williams after making way for Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, completed a single installation lap before returning to the garage. And his initial feedback was encouraging as the Spaniard reporting that “everything went fine” on his brief run.

Williams has unveiled its 2025 Formula 1 car in a one-off livery at a launch event at Silverstone. All ten teams have agreed to keep their race liveries under wraps until F1's season launch event in London on Feb. 18, meaning Williams opted to present the new FW47 in an interim colour scheme for its private Silverstone event.
