Black Sabbath fans disappointed to miss out on ‘once in a lifetime’ reunion gig - The show in Birmingham will see the band’s original line-up reunite for the first time in 20 years supported by many of the acts they influenced.

With Black Sabbath announcing their return to the concert stage for one final show, guitarist Tony Iommi has weighed in on the magnitude of the moment that will take place this summer with a new statement.

At one point he was 66,000th in the virtual ticket queue but vowed to stay to the bitter end. "I got stuck on about 53,000 for ages," he said, "then all of a sudden it went down to [just] 40-something and quicker from there.
