Incumbent Republican Mark Johnson was elected to represent Arkansas Senate’s 15 th District in 2018. In 2022, after redistricting, he ran and won in the 17 th District.

Incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 2014 and served three terms. In 2020, he ran a successful campaign for the state Senate.

Republican Incumbent Jim Dotson of Bentonville was first elected to the Arkansas House in 2012. He won a race for state Senate in 2022. He sits on the Education, State Agencies and Governmental Affairs,

If Thurston wins his bid for treasurer, he’ll have to resign from his position as secretary of state. Before becoming secretary of state, Thurston served as commissioner of state lands for eight years starting in 2011.

Steven Unger was elected to the Arkansas House in 2022. He ran unsuccessfully that same year in the Republican primary for his state Senate district. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 2015 at the rank of captain.
