Seyfried plays Michaela “Mickey” Fitzpatrick, a Kensington patrol officer who discovers a string of murders in the neighborhood’s drug market. As Mickey attempts to locate the killer, and find her missing sister Kacey (Ashleigh Cummings), she confronts dark memories from her childhood spent in the neighborhood.

The actress’s role as a Philadelphia beat cop in this Peacock series seems like an odd fit, but that’s the point. “I just wanted to prove to myself that nothing can feel too foreign,” she said.
