Both indexes had rebounded strongly last week after initially falling after the martial law flip-flop and failed first impeachment vote.

The court has up to six months to decide whether to remove Yoon Suk Yeol from office or to reinstate him as president after his impeachment over an attempt to declare martial law.

The Constitutional Court will decide whether to remove Yoon sometime in the next six months. If he is removed from office, a snap election will be called.
