Mourners paid their final respects to fallen Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Kyle McAcy on Thursday morning. At 8:30 a.m., traffic was closed off along the 3.5-mile route ahead of the funeral procession.

Liberty First Credit Union Arena was filled with emotion Thursday as law enforcement from across the country, friends and family, and those who knew him best came to honor Trooper Kyle McAcy.

Hundreds of people gathered to remember the life of fallen Nebraska state trooper Kyle McAcy. McAcy was hit by a snowplow and killed while responding to a crash last week on Interstate 80 in snowy conditions.
