LEGO Horizon Adventures confirms the voice actor who will be taking over for the late Lance Reddick as Aloy's mysterious on-and-off ally Sylens.

Following the passing of Sylens' original actor Lance Reddick last year, Lego Horizons Adventures has recast the role.

John Hopkins and John Macmillan also return, reprising their roles as Erend and Varl respectively. The roles of Teersa, Helis, Karst, Teb and Sona have all been recast, along with Sylens, with their original Horizon Zero Dawn actors not returning here.

Star Trek actor Tim Russ plays Sylens in Lego Horizon Adventures, IGN can confirm. Russ, who famously plays Tuvok in Star Trek: Voyager, assumes the role of Sylens after Horizon developer Guerrilla Games recast the character following the death of Lance Reddick in March 2023.

Earlier this month Guerrilla confirmed that the role had been recast in its next title. VGC can now confirm that in Lego Horizon Adventures, Sylens is played by Tim Russ, a veteran voice actor who’s previously appeared in Starfield, Horizon Forbidden West, and The Last of Us Part II.
