A Super Nintendo World Direct on Monday offered fans their long-awaited first look at the new Donkey Kong Country-themed expansion while announcing it will officially open December 11, 2024 in Japan.

The first expansion of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan will open in 202X, and it's already turning us into monkeys.

On Monday, Nintendo held a Super Nintendo World Direct to showcase the theme park’s first trip to the Donkey Kong Country.

Super Nintendo World first opened at Universal Studios Japan in March 2021 and Donkey Kong Country will add a whole new layer of Nintendo-themed fun to the festivities. Alongside

Nintendo revealed the Donkey Kong Country area coming to the Super Nintendo World theme parks in Japan and Orlando.
