The third and last Twenty20 between South Africa and Pakistan has been washed out in Johannesburg. Match officials waited two hours after the scheduled late-afternoon start on Saturday before abandoning the game without a ball bowled.

Opener Reeza Hendricks smashed 117 runs from 63 balls to guide South Africa to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second Twenty20 International at Centurion Park on Friday as they claimed the three-match series 2-0 with a game to spare.

Reeza Hendricks scored his first T20I century, in his tenth year of being an international cricketer, as South Africa won their first bilateral T20I series win since August 2022.

South Africa has won a bilateral Twenty20 cricket series for the first time in more than two years after it chased down Pakistan’s 206 in Centurion.
