Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser reacted after learning the proposed merger between Albertsons and Kroger, the parent company of King Soopers and City Markets, will no longer move forward.

Thwarted by federal and state judges, Albertsons gave up on its proposed $24.6 billion sale to Kroger and sued its would-be merger partner.
