Allu Arjun, who had been arrested in connection with the tragic death of a woman during the screening of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, was granted interim bail.

Allu Arjun was arrested after a woman tragically died during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4.

Allu Arjun was granted bail after submitting a personal bond of Rs 50,000. The release was met with support from several industry peers and his family members, who gathered at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, to stand by him.

Superstar Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning after the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on Friday evening. On Friday afternoon, the actor was detained in connection with the death of a woman that occurred during the premiere of his latest film `Pushpa 2: The Rule` at Sandhya Theatre on December 4.

Allu Arjun called himself a ‘law-abiding citizen’ and added that he will cooperate with the authorities in the case against him.

Allu Arjun was released on December 14 after being arrested over the Hyderabad stampede case during Pushpa 2's premiere. Despite the Telangana High Court granting bail on December 13, he was kept in jail overnight.
