The Justice Department will place the Louisville Police Department under a consent degree after an investigation into Breonna Taylor's death.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are searching for an 84-year-old man last seen in the Taylor Berry neighborhood. Melvin Pulliam was last seen near the 3000 block of Lester Avenue around 3 p.m. The Black man was possibly seen at 3430 Taylor Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. walking with a cane heading south.

The U.S. Justice Department and the city of Louisville reached an agreement to reform the city’s police force after an investigation prompted by Breonna Taylor’s death in 2020.
