The studio shared a first official teaser trailer for the movie Thursday. Superman is a reboot of the Superman film series based on the DC Comics character. The film is written, directed and produced by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy).

The trailer comes three days after Gunn shared a striking motion poster featuring Corenswet as the Man of Steel ascending into the skies with the tagline “Look up.” The poster is a subtle homage to 1978’s Superman, starring Christopher Reeve, accompanied by a softer, reimagined version of John Williams’s theme.
