Jrue Holiday doesn't rack up a ton of steals or blocks, but there is no player more important to the Celtics' stingy defense -- or their hopes to beat the New York Knicks and repeat as champions.

One week after winning the NBA Sportsmanship Award, Jrue Holiday was recognized as the league's Social Justice Champion for the 2024-25 season.

Holiday will be honored with the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar trophy, and the league will donate $100,000 to the Jrue and Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund.
