M ore than a year after launching its " Hulu on Disney Plus experience " in the US, Disney announced plans Wednesday to completely integrate Hulu into its Disney Plus streaming service. Additionally, Hulu will become available internationally once the merger happens next year, the company shared in its third-quarter earnings report.

Walt Disney Co. is integrating Hulu and Disney+ into one app, the entertainment company announced Wednesday. During an earnings call, CEO Bob Iger said Disney would combine the two streaming services to create a "unified app experience" that will feature entertainment, news and sports.

Disney said it is "fully integrating" the Hulu service, which it now owns 100%, into its flagship Disney+ streamer.
