It follows the tone we’ve come to expect from Hard Knocks–slices of real life building up to the season.

There wasn’t much drama during the premiere of Hard Knocks with the Buffalo Bills, which didn’t sit well with one analyst, who described the premiere as “blah.”

The “Hard Knocks” series returns Tuesday, August 5 with “Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills,” dropping 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max.
