Israel says it will close its embassy in Ireland as relations deteriorate over the war in Gaza, where Palestinian medical officials say new Israeli airstrikes have killed over 30 people including children.

The Health Ministry said 45,028 people have been killed and 106,962 have been wounded since the start of the war in October 2023.

Airwars, which charts civilian casualties of 21st century conflict, calls Israel’s campaign in Gaza “by far the most intense, destructive, and fatal conflict” it has tracked.
